ABOUT MAURICIO
Mauricio Payan leads The Payan Team with a practical approach to South Florida real estate built around preparation, communication and understanding the property itself.
His experience goes beyond the transaction. A background in construction gives Mauricio a valuable perspective when evaluating a home’s condition, renovation potential and the improvements that may or may not make sense before a sale. For sellers, that means conversations about preparing a property are grounded in more than appearance. For buyers, it provides another lens for evaluating what they’re actually purchasing.
Mauricio also worked through the distressed-property and short-sale environment surrounding the 2008–2012 housing cycle. That experience shaped a solution-oriented approach to transactions where pricing, property condition, financing or circumstances require more than a standard playbook.
Today, Mauricio works with buyers and sellers throughout South Florida, with a strong focus on Broward and Miami-Dade counties. His approach is straightforward: understand the client’s objective, understand the property, understand the market, and build the strategy around all three.
